An evening for winners at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Piazza Affari
On February 15, 2023, XENIX, in collaboration with Borsa Italiana (Euronext Group), announced the winners for the best ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) in their conference rooms in Milan. The winners in each category are listed on the Italian market. They are awarded based on the qualitative XENIX STARS ETF rating.
The quality selection of XENIX, an independent ETF rating specialist, analyzes the differences between the approximately 1,450 ETFs listed on the Borsa Italiana. XENIX awarded the Italian prizes in these three categories: Quality Evaluation, Newly Offered Innovations, and Special Awards.

The AWARDS 2023 for ETF Newcomers in ITALIA
In this category of the Italian XENIX ETF AWARDS 2023, awards were given last night to passively managed index ETFs that have been listed in Italy for the first time in the past 15 months and are real ETF innovations for private investors. So this price category is not based on the XENIX rating, but on the novel index concepts of their ETFs.
XENIX has awarded the following Italian ETF Newcomer Awards 2023 for these five global corporate bond ETFs with an “SRI – Socially Responsible Investment” filter to Fineco Asset Management, the first Italian ETF issuer:

XENIX ETF AWARDS ITALIA 2023: Special awards
A special award went to issuer Amundi for the Amundi Italy MIB ESG UCITS ETF DR (LU1681037518 – FMI), the first equity ETF on Euronext’s sustainable MIB ESG index. Moreover, this market-wide ETF is currently the only ESG ETF on Italian equities listed on the Borsa Italiana in Milan.
A special prize also went to the Turin-based company Directa SIM. Directa is a broker that offers new investment opportunities, for example “zero commission ETFs” for some selected issuers, but also in particular ETF savings plans, in Italian “piani di accumulo in ETF”, for over 260 index trackers that can be traded on the Italian Stock Exchange without commission costs for investors [auf Italienisch „a zero commissioni di negoziazione”] of the Turin broker.
